Haverstraw Police Department Raises $7,000 for Charities in Annual “No Shave November” Fundraiser

The Haverstraw Police Department has reason to celebrate as they successfully raised approximately $7,000 in their annual “No Shave November” fundraiser. This heartwarming initiative not only allowed officers to grow their facial hair but also supported various charitable organizations.

The generous funds collected during the campaign will be distributed among four worthy causes: the Stony Point Seals, United Hospice of Rockland, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The Haverstraw Police Department expressed their gratitude to Haverstraw Supervisor Phillips, the Town Board, and police administration for their support in enabling officers to participate in this event for a great cause.

“No Shave November” has become a cherished tradition within police departments all over the US, bringing officers and the community together to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. The success of this year’s fundraiser highlights the dedication of Haverstraw’s finest to both their duty and their community.
