Haverstraw Police Department Holds Swearing-In Ceremony for New Officers Christopher Cruger and Thomas O’Riordan

The Haverstraw Police Department proudly welcomed two new officers during an official swearing-in ceremony held Tuesday evening. Police Officer Christopher Cruger and Police Officer Thomas O’Riordan took their oaths of office, administered by Town Clerk Raquel Ventura, in a ceremony hosted by Supervisor Howard Phillips and the Haverstraw Town Board.

The event drew attendance from the police administration, local officials, family members, fellow officers, and residents of the Haverstraw community, all gathered to celebrate the newest additions to the force.

The department extended a warm welcome to Officers Cruger and O’Riordan, expressing confidence in their commitment to public service and wishing them both a successful and impactful career in law enforcement.
