Haverstraw Police Department Holds Promotion and Swearing-In Ceremony

On Tuesday evening, the Town of Haverstraw Police Department held a special ceremony to recognize and celebrate the promotions of several officers within its ranks. The event marked significant advancements in the careers of dedicated law enforcement professionals.

Lieutenant Ian Kaye was promoted to the rank of Captain, a role that brings with it increased responsibility and leadership within the department. Sergeant Robert Schweitzer was elevated to the position of Lieutenant, while Sergeants Steven Rosado and William Gould were promoted to the rank of Detective Sergeant.

In addition to these promotions, the department welcomed three new officers to its team. Philip Leonti, Matthew Mancuso, and Cassandra Marrero were officially sworn in by Town Clerk Raquel Ventura as the newest members of the Haverstraw Police Department.
