The Haverstraw Police Department hosted an active shooter training drill on Monday in coordination with the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police.
The exercise was held at a school within the North Rockland Central School District and focused on strengthening interagency response, communication, and tactical coordination during critical incidents and emergency situations.
Officials thanked Howard Phillips, the Town Board, Superintendent Kris Felicello, and the North Rockland Central School District Board of Education for their continued partnership and support in allowing the agencies to utilize the building for the important training exercise.
