Three Rockland County men were arrested early Sunday morning after Haverstraw Police said officers discovered a loaded firearm during a traffic stop on Route 9W.
According to police, officers stopped a vehicle at approximately 12:45 a.m. on July 26 in the Village of West Haverstraw for a traffic violation. During the investigation, officers recovered a loaded firearm and determined the three occupants of the vehicle were in illegal possession of the weapon. All three were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Haverstraw Police Department.
Police charged Tyler Riddle, 22, of Garnerville; Jaydan Lagredelle, 24, of Nanuet; and Daniel Lans, 23, of Spring Valley, with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a Class C felony; Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Ammunition Feeding Device), a Class D felony; and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
The three defendants were arraigned in the Village of West Haverstraw Justice Court and released on their own recognizance. The investigation was assisted by the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
