The Haverstraw Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with a larceny case at a local business, following an investigation spanning nearly two months.

The case began on January 27, 2025, when police released an image of an individual linked to the incident. Authorities later identified Sandy Martinez-Rodriguez (33), of Nyack, NY, as the suspect. On March 19, 2025, he was located and charged with petit larceny.

Following processing, Martinez-Rodriguez was released with an appearance ticket for the Village of Haverstraw Justice Court.
