Haverstraw Police Arrest Brooklyn Man for Credit Card Fraud

A Brooklyn man has been arrested for using stolen credit card information to make fraudulent purchases at a business in Haverstraw, resulting in losses of over $2,000.

According to the Haverstraw Police Department, 26-year-old Diamond Dinnall was taken into custody on July 17, 2025, after investigators determined he had traveled from Brooklyn to carry out the scheme. The arrest followed a joint investigation with the NYPD and Westchester County law enforcement, which led to Dinnall’s identification and apprehension.

Dinnall has been charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a Class E felony. He was arraigned in the Village of Haverstraw Justice Court and released on his own recognizance.

Authorities emphasized their commitment to safeguarding local businesses and pursuing individuals involved in financial crimes. They also reminded the public that charges are merely accusations, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
