Haverstraw Police Arrest 21-Year-Old in Connection with Commercial Burglaries

The Haverstraw Police Department announced on Wednesday that they have arrested Denny Matos, 21, of Haverstraw, New York, in connection with two commercial burglaries that took place within the past three weeks at two local businesses in the town.

According to police, Matos was charged with two counts of burglary in the 3rd degree, grand larceny, and petit larceny in connection with the incidents.

The Haverstraw Police Department continues its investigation into the burglaries and asks anyone with information to come forward. Local businesses are advised to take appropriate security measures to protect their premises and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
