The Town of Haverstraw Police Department has announced the arrest of Yandi Martinez in connection with the homicide that occurred on July 1, 2024, on West Street in the Village of Haverstraw.
Martinez was apprehended at 1:20 PM in Piedmont, South Carolina. The arrest was made possible through a collaborative effort involving the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Special Investigations Team (FASIT), the FBI-Westchester Safe Streets Task Force, and the FBI-Columbia Division.
Further details regarding the arrest and the investigation will be released on Monday, July 29.
