On Wednesday afternoon, elected officials, community leaders, and the family of Hector L. Soto gathered at the corner of Route 202 and Rosman Road for the official unveiling of the new Hector L. Soto Memorial Highway.
The dedication honors legislation sponsored by Senator Bill Weber and Assemblyman Patrick Carroll, who jointly carried the bill to name the roadway in memory of Hector L. Soto. Both officials attended the ceremony alongside Rockland County Executive Ed Day, Haverstraw Supervisor Howard Phillips, other elected officials, and members of the Soto family.
