A 22-year-old male was shot and killed Tuesday evening at 77 Clove Avenue near Fairmount Avenue in the Village of Haverstraw. The incident occurred at approximately 8:45 PM on September 9, 2025.
Sources tell Monsey Scoop that two suspects dressed in black were seen fleeing toward Main Street following the shooting.
Haverstraw Police, the Rockland React Team, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, and NYS Park Police all responded and remain on scene.
In an official statement, the Haverstraw Police Department confirmed they are investigating a homicide and said:
“We are actively working alongside multiple law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate this incident. At this time, no further details are being released to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation. Additional information will be made available as it becomes appropriate to do so.”
Authorities have not yet released further details on the suspects.
