Tuesday evening, Hatzoloh EMS of Rockland County Central District hosted a Women’s Appreciation Evening honoring the wives of its members, recognizing the vital behind-the-scenes role they play in supporting the lifesaving work of Hatzoloh across the Central District, which includes Monsey and Spring Valley.
The event was held at Fireside Steak House, and featured an inspiring and uplifting program along with a full dinner.
Program highlights included an opening by the evening’s MC, Mrs. Kornbluh, a guest address by Rebbetzin Chany Juravel, and a comedy presentation by Mrs. Z. Friedman of KJ, providing both meaningful reflection and moments of lighthearted enjoyment.
A special recognition was presented to Mrs. Chana B. Landa of the Refueh Help Line, honoring her as a constant source of strength for patients and for exemplifying the mesirus nefesh that takes place behind every emergency call.
Rockland Hatzoloh Central District Coordinator Pinchus Perl told Monsey Scoop that the evening was a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the women whose quiet heroism, patience, and unwavering commitment enable Hatzoloh members to respond at all hours and save lives throughout the community.
Hatzoloh also expressed its sincere appreciation to the evening’s sponsors, whose generosity helped make the event possible, including Fireside Steak House, Toys for You, B&H Sound, Greenhill Enterprises, Merkaz Sifurim, and Rockland Cosmetics. Organizers thanked the sponsors for their continued support of Hatzoloh and the families who stand behind its lifesaving mission.

The wives & children of Hatzalah members that respond to calls at any time, deserve a tremendous amount of appreciation, for all the time they have to wait for their father/husband to come back home to continue the Shabbos seuda, Pesach seder, supper homework, etc.
