HATE OVER SIMCHAS TORAH: BB Gun Attacks Target Jews in Airmont-Monsey Area

The Ramapo Police along with Chaverim Of Rockland are investigating two BB gun shooting incidents which occurred during Simchas Torah evening on Motzei Shabbos.

The first incident took place at the intersection of Smith Hill Road and Sumter Road in Airmont. Two Jewish women were targeted while they were walking to Shul. The suspect, driving an older model Dodge Grand Caravan, fired a BB gun at them.

A similar incident, matching the same description, occurred on Bates Drive in the Monsey area.

The Ramapo Police, in collaboration with Chaverim Of Rockland, are appealing to the public for assistance and urge anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incidents to come forward. Witnesses are requested to contact the Ramapo Police at 845-357-2400 or Chaverim Of Rockland at 845-371-6333.
