Republican gubernatorial candidate and Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman visited Rockland County on Wednesday, where he headlined multiple fundraisers in support of Senator Bill Weber and made a stop at Yeshiva Spring Valley. The Wesley Hills fundraiser event was organized by Gershy Moskowitz Productions.
During his visit to Yeshiva Spring Valley, Blakeman met with members of the administration and engaged with students, discussing education, public safety, and issues impacting the local community. The visit highlighted continued engagement between state-level leadership and Rockland County’s Jewish educational institutions.
Later in the day, Senator Bill Weber hosted two successful fundraisers, one in Wesley Hills and another in New City, both headlined by Blakeman. The events drew strong attendance and reflected growing momentum and enthusiasm for Weber’s campaign across Rockland County.
The Wesley Hills fundraiser was also attended by George Borello, Chair of the Senate Republican Campaign Committee, underscoring the state party’s commitment to supporting Senator Weber and keeping the seat in Republican hands.
Since his decisive reelection victory in 2024, Senator Weber has raised more than $170,000 from hundreds of supporters, including Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and members of organized labor. He is currently ahead of the fundraising pace set during his 2022 and 2024 campaigns, despite having previously won elections while being significantly outspent by his Democratic opponents.
Looking ahead, Weber is expected to qualify for approximately $375,000 in public matching funds. In addition, both the New York State Republican Party and the Senate Republican Campaign Committee have committed to making a substantial investment in the race, signaling strong confidence in Senator Weber’s leadership and campaign momentum.
