FULL RECAP: Thousands Gather for Historic Skvere Kesivas Haosiyos {PHOTOS & VIDEOS}

A historic and uplifting night unfolded in Skvere on Tuesday evening, as thousands of Skvere Chassidim gathered for the Kesivas Ha’osiyos, a prelude to the grand Hachnosas Sefer Torah celebration on Wednesday.

The event, which began at 8:00 p.m., lasted well into the night, concluding after 1:30 a.m., as the Skvere Rebbe, shlit”a, inscribed the final letters in the Sefer Torah. The atmosphere was one of deep reverence and unbridled joy, culminating in spirited dancing as the crowd celebrated this significant milestone.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, an even larger gathering is expected, with men, women, and children from across the Skvere kehilla worldwide set to participate in the actual Hachnosas Sefer Torah. As previously reported by Monsey Scoop, the Skvere Rebbe will lead the procession through the streets of New Square in a specially crafted traveling chuppah, fashioned from a former Monsey Trails bus, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.

Stay tuned for full coverage of tomorrow’s Hachnosas Sefer Torah, as the Skvere kehilla unites in an extraordinary display of Torah dedication and joy.
