FORSHAY: Pedestrian Struck on Forshay Road, Rockland Hatzoloh Paramedics Rush Victim to Hospital in Serious Condition

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning around 8:45 a.m. in front of 18 Forshay Road. Rockland Hatzoloh Paramedics responded swiftly, transporting the victim to Hackensack Medical Center in serious condition.

Forshay Road between South Parker Drive and Viola Road is currently closed as Ramapo Police conduct an accident investigation.

  1. It was only a matter of time before this happened. When I drive past Scheiner’s every day to go to work, there are men and boys walking into the street in front of cars in multiple places, just expecting the cars to stop for them. They should put in a crosswalk and everyone should cross only there.

  2. Perhaps this is a wake up call to the community I narrowly avoid killing at least one person a week by the Shul, they cross as if god made them unlikable many do not look at all before crossing perhaps a crosswalk could help rectify the situation !
