Emergency personnel from Hatzoloh EMS, Spring Hill EMS, Chaverim of Rockland, and the Ramapo Police Department responded to an MVA Wednesday morning at approximately 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Forshay Road and South Parker Drive. The incident involved a 1970 Chevrolet Corvette and resulted in reported injuries.
A local resident who witnessed the scene told Monsey Scoop that the intersection has become increasingly dangerous, noting that at least 15 accidents have occurred there since October. The resident urged local authorities to install a four-way stop sign to help prevent further crashes and improve safety in the area.

4 way stop sign? Maybe we should put stop signs at every single intersection so that traffic in Monsey comes to a complete standstill. This way it will take even longer to get where you need. Maybe 5 mph speed limits along with more stop signs and traffic lights.
Bunch of meshigners.
We never needed a stop sign smack in middle of forshay road until people stopped learning to drive and everyone from Brooklyn moved in!
On top of that, who are these so-called residents that claim to be calling for a stop sign? Many of us live at this intersection and have never heard of that. Who wrote this article and came up with this?
Who is this single Monsey resident who is calling for a stop sign on our beloved thoroughfare and how long ago did they move here from Brooklyn?
Personally 98 percent of anyone in Monsey NY no matter where you came from need to #1 take a current eye exam #2 seriously take a driver’s license written exam and driver’s test again or for your first time. #3 fix those car body parts ever hear of duct tape. #4 somebody please give each other SAFETY REFLECTIVE tape I don’t care how you wear it just do it .also whate type of person allows a stroller or child to be walking in roadway closest to the side of incoming car, why don’t the adults take the hit from a car ? It’s the kids who get hurt!
The kids don’t know the basic precautions for safety.
