Following Monsey Scoop’s article detailing how one of its members posted a video of a Hatzoloh EMS of Rockland County paramedic parked in a handicapped space with emergency lights activated while responding to an unresponsive child inside Costco, the Spring Valley Fire Department Board of Fire Commissioners announced Sunday that it is also investigating the incident. In a statement, the Board said it is taking the matter “very seriously” and will conduct a thorough review in accordance with its bylaws, rules, regulations, and established procedures. The department added that it has no further comment at this time.
