Finkelstein Memorial Library to Remain Closed Again This Sunday Due to Staffing Shortage

  1. Soon this board will be running the entire Library on their own since all employees will quit because of the actions they are taking. They will operate the Library on their own prior to their arrest for all of the illegal activities they have been doing. They have been reported and keep reporting. them. Amazing how in a short time this board has destroyed this library that has been built up over 100 years
Don’t give up they will lose

  2. I encourage everyone to review the full board meeting recordings and public materials before accepting any simplified narrative about the recent budget vote and the decisions that followed. Brief clips and selective summaries can easily obscure important context, especially when taxpayer funding and library governance are at stake.

The board should provide a clear, direct, and credible explanation of how the interim budget was developed and why no revote is being pursued. In matters this significant, vague or incomplete communication is not sufficient. Residents deserve transparency, accountability, and a process that can be plainly understood.

Public institutions are expected to operate with discipline, consistency, and respect for the community they serve. When financial decisions are delayed, procedural questions go unanswered, and important matters are repeatedly deferred, it is entirely appropriate for the public to demand better.

The library is too important to be managed in a manner that leaves staff, patrons, and taxpayers with more questions than answers. What is needed now is clear leadership, responsible governance, and a renewed commitment to the public trust.
