Finkelstein Library Launches Community Survey to Shape Future Services

The Finkelstein Library is inviting patrons and community members to share feedback through a new anonymous survey aimed at improving programs, collections, and services.

Library officials say responses will help guide future decisions, including how often residents use the library, which services they value most, and what improvements or new offerings they would like to see. The survey also asks about use of digital resources, programs attended, and which collections patrons would like expanded—such as children’s books, genre titles, or books in additional languages.

Participants may also leave open-ended comments and suggestions. While the survey is general in nature, respondents are welcome to mention any specific interests or needs they feel would enhance their library experience, including ideas related to children’s collections or cultural materials.

The survey is anonymous, with all questions optional. Those who wish can also enter a drawing to win a $50 Visa gift card after completing the survey.

Residents can take the survey here:

For questions about the survey or library services, Finkelstein Library can be reached at fmlref@rcls.org or by phone at (845) 352-5700.
