Elected Officials Attend Chabad of the Nyacks Community Menorah Lighting Sunday Afternoon in Nyack

Chabad of the Nyacks held its annual “Light Up Nyack” Community Menorah Lighting on Sunday afternoon, at the Gazebo at Hezekiah Easter Veterans Memorial Square.

The ceremony was attended by elected officials, community members, and local leaders, and took place with reflection following the recent terror attack targeting Jewish celebrants in Australia. A visible police presence was in place as a precaution to ensure public safety.

Despite global concerns, the event proceeded peacefully, serving as a public display of unity, resilience, and the enduring message of light during Chanukah.
