East Ramapo Central School District’s Budget Vote Slated for Tomorrow

On Tuesday, May 21, the East Ramapo Central School District (ERCSD) will hold its annual budget vote, proposing a significant increase for the 2024 fiscal year.

The proposal calls for an additional $36,276,223, marking a substantial 12.27% rise from last year’s budget. Should the budget be approved, taxpayers can expect a 1.99% increase in school taxes for each taxable household.
