Early Voting Opens This Weekend in Rockland County Ahead of November 4 General Election

Early voting for the upcoming General Election begins Saturday, October 25, and runs through Sunday, November 2, 2025. During this period, registered voters in Rockland County can cast their ballots at any of the seven designated Early Voting Centers, regardless of their home district.

Residents are urged to review the official schedule and locations listed below or visit the Rockland County Board of Elections website at www.voterockland.com. For questions or assistance, voters may also call 845-638-5172.

Important: Voters who cast a ballot during early voting are not permitted to vote again on Election Day.


🗳️ Early Voting Schedule

  • Saturday, October 25: 9 AM – 5 PM

  • Sunday, October 26: 9 AM – 5 PM

  • Monday, October 27: 9 AM – 5 PM

  • Tuesday, October 28: 12 Noon – 8 PM

  • Wednesday, October 29: 9 AM – 5 PM

  • Thursday, October 30: 12 Noon – 8 PM

  • Friday, October 31: 9 AM – 5 PM

  • Saturday, November 1: 9 AM – 5 PM

  • Sunday, November 2: 9 AM – 5 PM

Voters can cast their ballots at any of the following locations:

  • Clarkstown Town Hall – 10 Maple Avenue, New City

  • Pascack Community Center – 87 New Clarkstown Road, Nanuet

  • Orangetown Town Hall – 26 West Orangeburg Road, Orangeburg

  • Ramapo Town Hall – 237 Route 59, Suffern

  • Stony Point Kirkbride Hall – 5 Patriot Hills Lane, Stony Point

  • Fire Training Center – 35 Fireman’s Memorial Drive, Pomona

  • Haverstraw Town Hall – 1 Rosman Road, Garnerville


🗓️ Election Day

Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Polls will be open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and voters must report to their assigned polling sites unless otherwise notified of a temporary change.


📨 Absentee and Vote-by-Mail Information

The Board of Elections office will offer extended hours for absentee ballot drop-off and related business on the following dates:

  • Monday, October 20 – 5 PM to 7 PM

  • Wednesday, October 22 – 5 PM to 7 PM

  • Saturday, October 25 – 9 AM to 5 PM

  • Sunday, October 26 – 9 AM to 5 PM

  • Tuesday, October 28 – 5 PM to 8 PM

  • Thursday, October 30 – 5 PM to 8 PM

  • Saturday, November 1 – 9 AM to 5 PM

  • Sunday, November 2 – 9 AM to 5 PM

Absentee ballots can be mailed or hand-delivered during regular business hours or during these extended periods.

This year’s ballot includes races for County Executive, Family Court Judge, Town Supervisors, Town Councils, Village Mayors, Justices, and several local legislative positions across Rockland County’s five towns — Clarkstown, Haverstraw, Orangetown, Ramapo, and Stony Point — as well as multiple village offices.

Candidates include:

  • County Executive: Ed Day (Republican/Conservative) and Michael Parietti (Good Gov)

  • Family Court Judge: Nabeela McLeod (Democratic/Republican/Conservative)

  • Ramapo Supervisor: Michael B. Specht (Democratic/Conservative)

  • Clarkstown Supervisor: George A. Hoehmann (Republican/Conservative) and Eugene Bondar (Democratic)

  • And numerous local offices in Orangetown, Haverstraw, Stony Point, Nyack, Piermont, Spring Valley, Suffern, and West Haverstraw.
