Early Morning Structure Fire on Concklin Road

At approximately 4:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, multiple emergency personnel responded to the scene of an active structure fire on Concklin Road. The initial alert came through as an automatic alarm.

Emergency personnel from the Hillcrest, Theills, Spring Valley, and New City Fire Departments were joined by Spring Hill EMS, Ramapo Police, and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in addressing the blaze.

Hillcrest Fire Department led a swift and aggressive interior attack, successfully preventing the fire from spreading further and containing the damage.

Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the fire is being investigated as a possible arson incident. Witnesses reported a propane tank explosion at the scene, adding to the severity of the situation.

Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the fire. Further details will be shared as they become available.
