Driver Found Unconscious Behind Wheel of Rolling Car in Spring Valley, Suspected of Drug Use

On Thursday afternoon, emergency services in Spring Valley responded to a call about an unconscious driver at the intersection of Lincoln Street and South Central Avenue. The driver’s vehicle was still in drive and rolling when Spring Valley Police, Spring Hill EMS, and the Spring Valley Fire Department arrived at the scene.

The car had already crashed, but continued to move, prompting first responders to box it in. The Spring Valley Fire Department forcibly opened the vehicle’s door and extricated the driver, who was found to be under the influence of a substantial amount of drugs.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital and remains in police custody.
