On Friday, leadership from the Monsey Fire Department made Chanukah appreciation visits to several local and county officials, stopping by as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation for their continued partnership and support.
The visits included Rockland County Executive Ed Day, Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco, Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh, Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht, and members of the Town of Ramapo Police Department. While Chanukah visits traditionally include donuts, Monsey Fire Department put a unique twist on the tradition by delivering a lemonade donut cleanser, specially labeled and prepared by the well-known Paprika at Rockland Kosher, offering a refreshing break after the many donuts typically dropped off during the Chanukah season.
The Chanukah appreciation drop-offs highlighted the strong and longstanding relationship between the Monsey Fire Department, local law enforcement, and elected officials. Department leadership work hand in hand with these partners on a daily basis to coordinate emergency response efforts and ensure the continued safety and well-being of the Monsey community.
