As part of its “Did You Know Friday” series, the Rockland County Office of Fire and Emergency Services – Emergency Management Division is spotlighting its Emergency Operations Center (EOC), a vital hub activated during emergencies to coordinate countywide response efforts.

When the EOC is in use, representatives from fire departments, EMS, law enforcement, public health, public works, and other essential agencies come together to manage crises collaboratively and effectively.

To further bolster preparedness, Rockland County also maintains multiple backup operations centers throughout the region, ensuring response continuity under any condition.

Preparedness starts with planning—and Rockland County stands ready.
