A strong-arm robbery occurred Monday at approximately 12:30PM at the intersection of West Central Avenue and South Cole Avenue in Spring Valley.
Sources tell Monsey Scoop that a suspect violently pushed a woman to the ground before snatching her pocketbook. In a surprising act of courage, the victim pursued the fleeing suspect, who ultimately dropped the stolen bag on a nearby lawn along South Cole Avenue.
Law enforcement responded swiftly to the scene. Spring Valley Police, detectives, and the Rockland County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit are actively canvassing the area in an effort to locate the suspect.
