DEVELOPING – SPRING VALLEY: One Confirmed Dead, Multiple Shot on Gesner Drive

A chaotic and tragic scene unfolded late Saturday night on Gesner Drive near Maple Avenue, where police discovered multiple gunshot victims, including one confirmed fatality.

The incident was initially reported as a possible overdose after the New Jersey State Police contacted Spring Valley authorities about one or possibly two individuals in distress at the location. However, upon arrival, officers found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One person was confirmed dead at the scene.

Emergency personnel, including Spring Hill EMS, Spring Valley Police, Spring Hill EMS paramedics, Rockland Paramedics, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, and the New York State Police, responded to the scene.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Further details have yet to be released. Names for Tehllim or Chevra Kadisha services aren’t needed in this tragic incident
