A serious multi-vehicle crash occurred Monday at approximately 1:15 p.m. on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway near Exit 11, prompting a large emergency response.
Numerous emergency personnel, including Hatzoloh EMS, Spring Hill EMS, Rockland Paramedics, and multiple law enforcement agencies, responded to the scene to provide medical care, secure the area and investigate the incident.
Sources tell Monsey Scoop the crash involved a special needs school van carrying seven children and two staff members that crashed into a tree.
Monsey Scoop has now confirmed that all occupants are in stable condition. While several patients suffered fractures and other injuries, no one is in critical condition, and all occupants are conscious and alert.
Seven children and one staff member were transported to Westchester Medical Center for evaluation and treatment, while the second staff member was transported to Montefiore Nyack Hospital.
The southbound lanes experienced significant traffic delays as first responders worked at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

There was more than one vehicle involved
The article clearly states that 7 children and 2 staff nembers were in the van, a bog standard Toyota Sienna.
Deleting my prior post will not change that very important and disturbing fact.
I guess it was a mistake in the article as they didn’t mention the second vehicle
