DEVELOPING: Major Accident on Palisades Parkway Northbound Near Exit 1

An MVA has occurred on the Palisades Parkway Northbound, 5:45 PM on Monday heading from the George Washington Bridge toward Monsey, near Exit 1. Reports indicate at least one unconscious patient at the scene.

Emergency personnel are on-site, and traffic is severely impacted as the northbound lanes remain completely shut down. A medevac is on standby, prepared for possible transport.

Motorists should expect heavy delays and seek alternate routes.
