On Friday at approximately 11:55 a.m., Spring Valley Police responded to a report of an unconscious male behind a box truck on Commerce Street near North Madison Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found the individual unresponsive.
Spring Hill EMS and Rockland Paramedics were dispatched to the scene, where the man was pronounced deceased. Authorities indicated the incident may be related to an assault, though details remain under investigation.
The Spring Valley Police detectives along with Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. No further information has been released at this time as the investigation continues.
