DEVELOPING IN SPRING VALLEY: Stabbing Reported at Memorial Park; One Suspect in Custody, Possibly Additional Suspects at Large

Police are investigating a reported stabbing Sunday evening at Memorial Park. The incident was reported at approximately 7:10 p.m., with at least one victim sustaining injuries.

One suspect has been taken into custody and was transported to a local hospital by Spring Hill EMS. Sources tell Monsey Scoop that a second suspect, and possibly additional suspects, may still be at large. K-9 units from the Suffern Police Department are actively tracking a scent after a coat, reportedly pulled off one of the fleeing suspect(s), was recovered in the area.

The Spring Valley Police Department, assisted by the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, remains on the scene as the investigation continues. Authorities have not released further details at this time.
