Democratic State Senate candidate Joe Rand will hold a community meet-and-greet in Montebello on Wednesday evening, August 19, giving local residents an opportunity to meet the candidate and discuss issues affecting the community.
The event is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at the Stern residence, located at 12 Zeck Court in Montebello. Organizers say attendees will be able to ask Rand questions, share their concerns and engage in an open conversation about local and state issues. Light refreshments will be served.
Rand, who currently serves as mayor of Nyack, is the Democratic candidate for New York’s 38th State Senate District and is challenging incumbent Republican State Senator Bill Weber in the November general election.
The event is open to neighbors, friends and members of the community, with organizers encouraging residents to stop by and take part in the discussion.
