Congressman Mike Lawler Meets Rockland County Boys Battling Cancer During White House Tour

Last week, Congressman Mike Lawler had the honor of meeting two brave young boys from Rockland County, Yidel and Shaya, who are currently battling cancer. The boys were in town for a special tour of the White House arranged by Lawler’s office, an event that brought smiles and inspiration to their faces.

Yidel and Shaya’s visit was made possible by Chai Lifeline -Achim B’yachad, an organization dedicated to supporting children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Accompanying the boys were Chai Lifeline -Achim B’yachad Volunteers Motty Green and Yitzchok Gold, who played a crucial role in arranging this memorable experience.

During their time together, Congressman Lawler expressed his admiration for the boys’ courage and resilience. He also commended Chai Lifeline for their tireless efforts in bringing hope and joy to children facing significant health challenges.
