Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) praised President Donald Trump’s newly signed Executive Order aimed at expanding access to and reducing the cost of in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments.
“Every family in America should have access to IVF treatments at a lower cost,” said Lawler. “Millions of people struggle with fertility, and that should not be a barrier to starting a family. President Trump’s Executive Order today will make incredible progress on this front.”
Lawler, who previously introduced the IVF Access and Affordability Act in Congress to address this issue, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative and emphasized the importance of bipartisan collaboration to improve IVF accessibility nationwide.
“I’m thrilled to see President Trump taking the lead on this important issue and look forward to working with my Congressional colleagues in a bipartisan way to improve access to IVF services for all Americans,” he added.
