COMMUTER ALERT: Montvale Service Area Closure and Renovations

Attention all commuters: The Montvale Service Area, recently renamed as the James Gandolfini Service Area, on the Garden State Parkway near Monsey (Rockland County), is undergoing significant renovations.

The main building and service station at this location closed on December 4, 2023, and are expected to remain closed until mid-2024.

During this period, no food, fuel, or restroom facilities will be available.

Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and seek alternative refueling and rest options. Monsey Scoop will provide further announcements regarding the reopening.
