Community Security Initiative Hosts Law Enforcement Appreciation Breakfast at Town of Ramapo Hall

Rockland County Law Enforcement Leaders and The Jewish Federation of Rockland/Community Security Initiative held a Law Enforcement Appreciation Breakfast at the Ramapo Town Hall on Thursday morning. The event honored former Ramapo Police Chief Martin Reilly and Clarkstown Police Officer Niles Davies for their extraordinary service to the community.

The Jewish community expressed deep gratitude for the efforts of law enforcement, particularly in the aftermath of the October 7th events. As threats against the community continue to rise, recognizing the dedication and bravery of law enforcement officers is more important than ever.

Ethan Erlich, Regional Security Director of the Community Security Initiative, led the breakfast and praised the honorees for their contributions. “The unwavering commitment and bravery displayed by Chief Reilly and Officer Davies have been instrumental in ensuring the safety of our community,” Erlich said. “Their service exemplifies the highest standards of law enforcement.”

Marcy Pressman, President of the Jewish Federation and Foundation of Rockland County, and Ari Rosenblum, CEO of the Jewish Federation and Foundation of Rockland County, also expressed their heartfelt thanks.
