Community Outreach Center to Host Annual Kids’ Safety Awareness Day on Sunday, May 18

The Community Outreach Center invites families to its Annual Safety Awareness Day for Kids on Sunday, May 18, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, taking place in front of its community center at 21 Remsen Avenue, Monsey, NY.

This exciting and educational afternoon is packed with important safety activities for children and families, including:

·         Free bike helmet distribution

·         Raffle of 50 car seats

·         Safety materials and handouts

·         Refreshments for all participants

Over 2,000 children attended last year’s event, and another incredible turnout is expected. The Ramapo Police Department will be present to speak with kids about pedestrian safety, and multiple booths will provide hands-on activities and information. A special kids’ activity book focused on pedestrian and car safety will be distributed to all children.

Don’t miss this fun-filled and potentially life-saving event!
