Columbia University Students Visit Rockland County District Attorney’s Office

On Monday, District Attorney Tom Walsh welcomed a group of master’s students from Columbia University to the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office. The students, who are studying negotiation and conflict resolution, received an overview of the DA’s role in the justice system, with DA Walsh highlighting key programs offered by the office.

The visiting group comprised international students hailing from countries such as Ecuador, Cameroon, Lebanon, Italy, and the United States. During their visit, they engaged in a Q&A session where DA Walsh addressed a variety of questions about the legal system and the office’s approach to resolving conflicts within the community.
