The Town of Clarkstown has once again claimed top honors in Senator Bill Weber’s Five Towns Blood Drive Challenge, earning the award for the most first-time blood donors for the second consecutive year.
Senator Weber presented the trophy to Supervisor George Hoehmann, commending Clarkstown for leading the way in encouraging new donors to participate in this lifesaving initiative.
Supervisor Hoehmann expressed gratitude to the many residents and town employees who rolled up their sleeves to give blood, as well as to everyone across Rockland County who contributed to the success of the challenge.
“Thanks to Senator Weber for organizing this meaningful contest where, truly, everyone involved is a winner,” Hoehmann said.
