Clarkstown Welcomes Four New Officers to Police Department

The Town of Clarkstown has welcomed four new officers to its Police Department, bringing with them a wealth of experience and diverse backgrounds that will enhance public safety and community engagement.

Officer N. Russo, formerly with the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department, brings bilingual skills in Italian and a strong foundation in law enforcement. Officer N. Palumbo, who previously served with the City of White Plains Police Department, is known for his commitment to community-focused policing.

Joining them is Officer S. Finamore, who brings 12 years of experience from the NYPD, where he served as a K9 handler, and Officer P. Smith, who also served with the NYPD for seven years and rose to the rank of Sergeant.

Supervisor George Hoehmann, Chief Jeff Wanamaker, and the Town Board welcomed the new officers, expressing confidence that their addition will further strengthen the department’s mission of putting “Community First.”
