The Town of Clarkstown is inviting residents from across Rockland County and beyond to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with what officials say will be the first-ever patriotic drone show in Hudson Valley history.
The historic event, titled the “America 250 Drone Show,” will take place on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Felix Festa Middle School, 30 Parrott Road in West Nyack. The evening will feature a concert by the renowned West Point Band, a large-scale synchronized drone light show, food vendors, and family-friendly activities.
According to the Town, approximately 400 drones will take to the skies, creating patriotic images and symbols honoring the nation’s 250-year legacy. The show will also feature a special design submitted by the winner of Clarkstown’s High School Drone Show Design Competition, giving local students the opportunity to be part of the landmark celebration.
Gates will open at 6:00 p.m., with the West Point Band performing at 8:00 p.m. as part of Clarkstown’s Summer Concert Series. The drone show is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Town officials say the event is designed to celebrate America’s past, present, and future while bringing the community together for an unforgettable night under the stars. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of music, entertainment, food, and patriotic displays.
