CLARKSTOWN: Thousands Temporarily Without Power in Widespread Outage

A major power outage struck parts of Clarkstown on Thursday afternoon, leaving approximately 10,400 customers without electricity.

The Clarkstown Police Department received numerous calls related to the outage as residents sought information and assistance. Orange & Rockland Utilities crews quickly mobilized and began working to restore service.

As of now, power has been restored to the majority of affected customers. However, residents in certain areas may still experience isolated outages while repair work continues.

Orange & Rockland has provided an estimated full restoration time of 6:10 PM today.
