Thousands of residents, community leaders, and elected officials gathered Thursday evening at Felix Festa Middle School as the Town of Clarkstown hosted the Hudson Valley’s first-ever patriotic drone show in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The historic event featured a stunning aerial display of 400 drones that illuminated the night sky with 20 patriotic images, highlighting iconic American symbols and moments honoring the nation’s history. The celebration also included a special performance by the renowned West Point Band, adding to the evening’s patriotic atmosphere.
Town officials thanked Skyworx Drone Shows for partnering to bring the groundbreaking event to the Hudson Valley, as well as the event’s sponsors for making the celebration possible. They also expressed appreciation to Congressman Mike Lawler for helping secure the West Point Band for the occasion.
Officials thanked the thousands of attendees whose enthusiasm helped make the celebration a memorable tribute to America’s past, present, and future as the nation looks ahead to its next 250 years.
