Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann Officially Kicks Off Re-Election Campaign with Successful Fundraiser

Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann launched his re-election campaign with a highly successful fundraiser at La Terrazza, where nearly 200 supporters packed the venue, raising over $50,000 for the campaign. The event drew a broad coalition of supporters, including residents, unions, and community organizations.

Among the notable attendees were County Executive Ed Day, State Senator Bill Weber (SD-38), Clarkstown Town Clerk Lauren Marie Wohl, Stony Point Supervisor Jim Monaghan, and several Clarkstown Council members, including Bob Axelrod, Michael Graziano (Ward 2), and Jon Valentino. Other prominent figures included Superintendent of Highways Bob Milone, Legislator candidates Will Kennelly (District 11) and Ray Sheridan (District 9), former Legislator Jim Foley, Orangetown Superintendent Jim Dean, Judge Leslie Kahn, and Legislator Aron Wieder.

Expressing gratitude, Supervisor Hoehmann thanked all attendees for their overwhelming support and emphasized his commitment to the community as he embarks on the campaign trail. “I am incredibly grateful for the encouragement and backing from so many friends, residents, and colleagues in government. This campaign is about ensuring Clarkstown continues to move forward, and I’m looking forward to working together with our team to make that happen,” he stated.

With a strong turnout and significant financial backing, Supervisor Hoehmann’s re-election bid is off to a robust start as he prepares to campaign for another term in office.
