After nearly four decades in law enforcement, Sergeant Nick Lafasciano has officially retired from the Clarkstown Police Department, concluding a distinguished 38-year career in public service.
Sgt. Lafasciano began his law enforcement journey in July 1986 with the NYC Transit Police Department before transitioning to the NYPD in April 1987. He joined the Clarkstown Police Department in February 1993, where he spent the past 31 years serving the community with commitment and professionalism.
Throughout his tenure in Clarkstown, Lafasciano held numerous leadership roles. He was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in November 2001, advanced to Detective Sergeant in July 2014, and most recently served as Administrative Sergeant beginning in January 2019.
His retirement marks the end of a long and impactful career, with colleagues and residents alike recognizing his dedication and contributions to public safety. Sgt. Lafasciano leaves behind a legacy of leadership and integrity that will be remembered within the department and beyond.
