The Clarkstown Police Department is congratulating Sergeant Chris Bax on his retirement following 21 years of dedicated service in law enforcement.
A third-generation police officer, Sgt. Bax began his career with the NYPD in 2005 before serving with the Westchester County Police Department. He joined the Clarkstown Police Department in 2008 and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2019.
Throughout his career with Clarkstown Police, Sgt. Bax served in the Patrol Division and held several important instructional and leadership roles. He was a Field Training Officer, Police Mental Health Instructor, Disability Awareness Training Instructor, Crisis Intervention Team Instructor, Project Lifesaver Instructor, and a New York State DCJS Master Instructor.
The Clarkstown Police Department thanked Sgt. Bax for his years of dedicated service, leadership, and lasting contributions to the department and the community, and wished him a long, healthy, and enjoyable retirement.
