The Clarkstown Police Department has confirmed that three people were killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in New City.
At approximately 3:00 a.m. on September 28, 2025, officers responded to reports of a serious accident near the intersection of North Little Tor Road and Roberts Road. Upon arrival, police found a gray Honda Civic that had left the roadway and struck a tree, sustaining catastrophic damage.
Tragically, all three occupants of the vehicle — two males and one female — were pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. Their identities are being withheld pending notification of their families. Chevra Kadisha services weren’t needed in this tragic incident.
The Clarkstown Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit is actively investigating the incident. Authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has additional information to contact the Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau at (845) 639-5800.
Police expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, calling it a tragic loss for the community.

A devastating crash early Sunday morning has resulted in multiple fatalities, according to preliminary reports.
Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the accident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. when a car struck a tree on 1 Roberts Road near North Little Tor Road. Emergency personnel responded immediately, but early reports indicate that several individuals were killed. It is not yet confirmed whether they were members of the same family.
At 8:00 a.m., the Clarkstown Police Department announced that North Little Tor Road is closed between Quarry Drive and South Mountain Road while the Accident Investigation Team examines the scene. Police advised motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes, noting that the closure will remain in effect for several hours.
