The Clarkstown Police Department Detective Bureau is actively investigating two attempted car larcenies involving luxury vehicles in the New City area. The incidents occurred on Preakness Lane and Gable Road.
Authorities are urging residents to review any camera footage they may have captured between the hours of 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM. If anyone observes anything suspicious, they are encouraged to contact the Clarkstown Police Department at (845) 639-5800.
To prevent such crimes, the Clarkstown Police Department advises homeowners to take the following precautions: remove valuables from vehicles, ensure keys or fobs are not left inside, and always lock vehicle doors.
